GAME DIRECTOR / ART DIRECTOR
XIAOFAN ZHANG
Xiaofan is a concept artist and illustrator. She specializes in dark, moody, atmospheric, and cinematic pieces, drawing inspiration from documentaries, horror movies, stories, and games. She is the mastermind behind the game False God, which is a spin-off of her webtoon, Chroniclers.
LEAD PRODUCTION MODELER
CHENEY ARMSTRONG
Cheney is an Asian American artist with a deep passion for the world of fantasy. His expertise lies in 3D modeling, specifically geared towards cinematic and video game production. He finds equal joy in crafting intricate hard surface designs and breathing life into organic characters, props, and immersive environments. During college, he had the privilege of serving as the Modeling and Texturing Lead for two short films, one of which, earned the Frog Baby Film Festival Award for Best Animation and was the audience's top choice.
LEAD ANIMATOR
NELSON DIEC
Nelson (or Nell) is the lead animator on the team, responsible for rigging and animation. He holds a Bachelor's in Fine Arts and his skill-sets have shifted to Blender and Clip Studio Paint. In his free time, he enjoys sketching and manga/anime. (A couple of his favorites are Black Lagoon and Yu Yu Hakusho.)
GAMEPLAY & AUDIO PROGRAMMER
Oberon Buckingham-West
Oberon is an AI and audio researcher with a focus on game technology, currently pursuing a PhD. With a background in digital audio engineering, he has worked on AAA game titles and technical audio projects. His interests include AI, DSP, ML, and game/audio programming, which he actively applies in his professional and personal projects. As part of Xiaofanchuan Studios, he serves as a gameplay and audio programmer, contributing to our upcoming indie title, False God.
PRODUCTION MODELER
Fatima Lilah Abboud
Fatima is a talented 3D Artist specializing in props and environment pieces. With a Masters in Fine Arts, she excels in modeling, sculpting, unwrapping, and texturing. Her passion for horror games drive her creativity, and she is always eager to take on new challenges in her field.
3D GENERALIST
Kyle Dris
Kyle (also known as Trailbotic) is a 2D/3D artist and musician, with a special love for characters. He loves creating art of any form, whether it be illustration, 3D modeling, storyboards, or writing music. Instead of sleeping, you can find him reading manga and watching concert videos of his favorite bands.

Vulcan
Vulcan is a horror and music enthusiast who specializes in character development and design. He makes experiencing new things a priority, to grow both as a person and an artist.
COMPOSER / MUSIC DESIGNER
Matis Merilain
Estonian video game composer, living in Finland, Matis is a fan of the indie game scene and its unique storytelling. For False God, he composes intricately torturous horror tunes and implements them. Matis is an alumnus of postgraduate degree in Composing for Video Games at ThinkSpace Education.
CREATIVE SOUND DESIGNER
Jackson Roane
Jack is a sound designer, lecturer, and eccentric amateur voice actor. Based in the UK, Jack graduated from Futureworks with a first class honours in Game & Interactive Audio in 2023. Jack enjoys being able to not only create unique sound design, but also find interesting ways to implement it into engines and middleware.
GRAPHIC DESIGNER / UI DESIGNER
GPDXP
GPDXP goes by G, and his main focus is graphic design and photography. He's skilled in illustrator, and photoshop.
UX and UI DESIGNER
Adel
Adel is a UX and UI Designer. He has a degree in Interactive Arts and Technology with a concentration in Design and New Media. He also studied UX/UI Design for gaming. Always learning to improve himself and his passion for game, he believes that usability is an important part of every designand that a good UX/UI Design can make any game so much better.
ANIMATOR
Lea Stouder
Lea is a 2D and 3D character animator who has been a horror fan for years. Horror games present different styles and types of animation unlike any other genre.
Getting to animate such unique and disturbing monsters for False God has been a new and exciting experience.
PROGRAMMER
Mehdi
Mehdi is driven by a passion for learning and continuous growth a self-taught programmer with several years of experience working in Unreal Engine. As a lifelong gamer, his journey into game development started long before he picked up coding. Dota 2 is his favorite game, fueling a deep understanding of game mechanics and design. When they not working on Unreal Engine projects or honing skills, you’ll likely find him exploring new gaming experiences or diving into the latest tech innovations.
WRITER
Degario Palmer
Degario is an English writer who has always enjoyed captivating narratives, world-building, and well-written characters. He believes good stories and lore can really immerse the reader in any form of media, whether it be a novel, show, cartoon, or anime. He hopes to transfer his passion into False God and give it an added push to immerse you, the player, in the wonderful world we are creating.
WRITER
Emile Lin
Technical writer by day and freelance copywriter by night, Emile is taking his first stab at grant writing by joining the False God team. On the rare evenings when he is not trying to beat a deadline, he can be found taking long walks in the city.
HISTORIAN / TRANSLATOR
SDS
SDS(aka the Owl) lurks in the background. They enjoy digging through the history and mythology of various cultures. When they are not busy with world domination, they help with False God’s related background research and translation.
SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER
Amanda Grzelak
Amanda has a background in art and art education and a love of art, photography, and gaming. She specializes in too much time on the internet and arting.
ADVISOR
Joss Moo-Young
Joss has a BIT in Game Dev./Entrepreneurship, a MSc. in Comp. Sci., and a work addiction growing out of hand. He loves indie development because it lets him work on core systems, animation, shaders, audio, and performance all at once. When not learning, teaching game design & programming part-time, and making games, he is drawing, enjoying art, touching grass/water, and of course, playing video games.
ADVISOR
MATTHEW PARASKEVAKOS
Matt is a Game-play Designer and Programmer. Since finishing a Bachelor of Information Technology for Game Dev./Entrepreneurship at OntarioTech University. He is always chasing fresh and new creative concepts for game design, while constructing clean and efficient implementations for said concepts. A lifelong fan of RPG games has made him a firm believer that the best game-play comes from a marriage of immersion and simplicity.
